University Hosted E-Payment Solutions

All e-commerce solutions implemented are subject to review and approval by the Office of the University Bursar in compliance with payment card and funds handling policies. 

Commerce Manager and CASHNet

The Bursar's Office of Virginia Tech, in partnership with vendors including Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS-Commerce Manager TM) and CASHNet TM, offer several secure e-commerce solutions for departments. Possibilities include a customizable storefront with its own URL, or a checkout only option that integrates with an existing storefront. Vendor capabilities include credit card and ACH acceptance, multiple or single item general ledger feeds, inventory management, and discount code functionality. Transactions are accessible using ecommerce reporting tools.

Payment Card Industry Compliance (PCI)

The NBS Commerce Manager and CASHNet e-commerce solutions coordinated with university security policies and procedures provide a trusted environment for campus commerce. Both platforms are PCI DSS Level 1 Validated and integrate with multiple ERP systems.
